HAPPY BIRTHDAY

what am i doing w/ my time
my mind
laying shirtless on a $100 bill beach towel
in the middle of pioneers park
near replica greek columns
& a man made lake
a muddy pit
i am a muddy summer sludge
some people are taking profesh portraits
near the collumns
& there are so many annoying joggers
twin ginger bros w/ matching jog hounds
splashing in the water
"lets tie them up
and do some pushups and situps" one twin sd
& they ran off
but i still don't feel alone

a woman on a bike just went by
i did not notice until she was almost
over the hill
i am trying to secretly get stoned
i can hear motorcycles purr
over music in my headphones
there is a loose dog sniffing
a few feet away
i am almost nervous
his man doesn't seem worried
& they are gone now too
