rabbit after midnight

sprint the blue moon, too far
for us to feel
when your ears perk-up
as i kiss at your neck for days,
long tails
swift over the powdered snow,
so i can follow them
again & again, where you like.

i feel a little like i asked you to describe what you see and you did but i had already seen it and you said exactly what i saw. do you know what i mean by that? i mean both a good and a bad thing: good) pristine image with appropriate vagueness as to whys and whens, a clean and peaceful implied palette. bad) there is something that i didn't see when i looked and why don't you tell me that?

to clarify, i do not mean by that analysis that i have apprehended everything that this text has to say. i am talking mostly about the first impression of images as a result of the word choice.

i definitely understand what you're saying. i wasn't really intending this to be anything at the time. just sat down and wrote something quick.
